Hey All,
So my dog decided to chew the webbing on the seat belts front driver and passenger side. Honda wont warranty it and they want over 1k to fix it. I am looking for the part numbers to buy them and do it myself, any advice?

hi, those seat belts have an explosive device, you can remove it an get an used one but im not sure if you have to take care of the SRS ecu

 

Disconnect the battery before unplugging anything. The SRS wont know you did anything. I'd go to a wrecking yard and see if you can see one and tell if the pyro-tensioner is separate from the seat belt mechanism, 1K may actually be the price for the belts alone nearly, plus 2 hours labor.

BTW some home owners policy's will cover this type of damage...
