I have a 2012 10th anniversary honda fit. Yesterday my car radio, roof lights and immobiliser key all stopped working at the same time, and i had to resort to using the manual key. Any ideas of what might be the issue and a possible fix??

 

Look at the fuse box first

 

Thanks, the fuse controlling the roof light, radio unit and immobilizer was blown, replaced it and some power wires shorted out. After additional checks, I found that the power wire for the radio was shorted out, and replacing the fuse shorted out some other wires. All in all, I had to replace some wiring and the 10A fuse.

 

Sounds like someone was in and around all of the electrical stuff. Do you have aftermarket components that someone spliced into these circuits?

Bottomline, is everything working now?
