Question HELP: Wiring of the 2nd Fit

Hi guys, My 09 Fit is a basic model without remote keys. I am fixing an aftermarket central power lock system. But I face some problems here, how can I wire the power cable through the firewall to the battery? The other side of this cable is connected the door lock control unit in the cabin.... And the control unit also needs to connect the turning signal positive, where are these turning signal wires located? Thank you for your information!

Welcome to the forum.

When doing my AMP install, which required power thru the firewall there is a large grommet above the gas pedal. Check out this thread for pics.

Why does a door lock controller need to connect to the turning signals? Is that simply to flash the lights to indicate that you locked or unlocked it?

Thank you, yes, it indicates that whether doors are locked or unlocked... shown as this video, but this car is not a Honda FIT.

I would check the fuse panel under the driver side, you could possibly even find a 12v to tap in to there. Locate the turn signal fuse and source the wiring from there. A multimeter will help. =)

I'm trying to locate an electrical diagram but the firewall here at work prevents a lot of image sharing services.

If I pull the power cable from the engine bay, I think that I should remove the air box and/or battery first...

The plug with the blue and pink wires are for the signal lights.

I only get wired if I drink a lot of coffee.
