Prospective Buyer
My wife are looking at buying a 2nd Gen Fit and we have a list of'em to check out. I'm trying to do some research and figured I'd also ask the community as well What are common fit issues to be aware of? I know about regular maintenance items but what is common to the fir that I should be aware of?

If possible, I'd shop for one that has under 60,000 miles. It does not seem that many owners do the required valve adjustment/spark plug change.
Dealers are often the culprit as they don't understand the need either and just tell people the motor is fine.
The reality is that no one has ever found the valves to be within spec at 60,000 miles and many have had spark plugs eject somewhere between 60 and 90k miles if they haven't been replaced or re-torqued.
