Yes, I know that there is no filter in the MT Fit.
I posted it because of the four prior posts regarding 'trusting the dealership'
I think the service tech was just going by the mileage, without realizing it was a manual tranny...

 

So the maintenance reminder will let me know when to do the valve check?

For the other gent, no. The maint. Minder does not indicate when to do valves. It instructs you to go by sound. Too many variables play into their coming out of spec to gauge it by time I suppose

 

Maintenance minder includes a valve check with sub-code "4". this triggers around 100K.
