Mine has a snap on / off cover that shows a child's car seat.

Are you talking about the location of the back seat center seat-belt?

that might be it I also own a 1988 honda civic wagon and has the cargo light on top I just figured would be the same but they put it on the side for these fits.. 117hp compare to 90 hp for my wagon feel quicker lol

So there are 2 possibilities:

If it's on the ceiling behind the driver, then it's the spot where the center seat-belt comes out.

If it's on the ceiling at the back and perfectly centered, it's likely just another anchor point for cargo / child seats / etc.

Hope this helps,

I would hate to try to figure out the new child seats and how to strap them down. Plus you have seat recalls and design changes. Probably best to not have kids. A pain anyway

Go to the thread called "Torque Specs". This thread is about the child seat anchor in the back of the car.
