145k miles 2011 Base Fit MT, Maintaince
I have a 2011 Fit that I have run pizza in full time the last two years and the remaining mileage long highway runs 30-130 mile trips. Its on its 3rd set of tires which are new Firestone All-Seasons. New battery about 2 years ago, new rotors and brake pads about 8 months ago, oil when the maintenance minder says -(-1000) No other maintenance has been done as I'm the original owner and will have it paid off in 3 months.
Driving Habit. I have 4 kids so its either loaded with pizza or kids. Preferably neither. I drive like a bat out of hell on delivery, and of course when its just me, otherwise you already know. Gas light always comes on before fill up since new, sometimes keep a stretch of highway for another 30 miles. I don't know what else, I drive it like I've always understood Honda's to be known for such as reliability.
So biggest Question or Questions. What do I need to maintain, lol. Like spark plugs, coils, transmission fluid, brake fluid flush?; didn't do it when doing discs and pads.
Thanks for any help.

Valve adjustment, spark plugs, drive belt, brake fluid change, coolant drain and fill, and transmission fluid is where I'd start.
Coils I'd just replace as needed, but that's me. I think the original OEM's hold up longer than even the OEM replacements.
Denso or NGK Iridium for the spark plugs, Dayco or Gates for the belt - RockAuto hard to beat for these parts
Honda OEM for the brake fluid, coolant, and transmission are a decent and safe choice.
Total service will be around $100 if you do it yourself.

By the way, you're going to love your life when you change that MT fluid. These Fits have such sweet gearboxes to begin with. Put in some fresh MT fluid, and you be smilin'. Like this guy --->

Or was it the actual transmission assembly?
If it was the actual MT box, what went wrong?...was it abused like that 50 Shades chick?

That would make a whole lot more sense. I read it the other way also.
I put Amsoil in ours at around 10k miles and ran it to about 130k. Have had Honda OEM from 130k to 192k now. Will probably switch back to Amsoil next.
A word of warning for those with older Hondas...
Honda is messing with a lot of their fluids to meet new EPA/fuel mileage requirements. They are discontinuing old formulas and saying the new ones are compatible and to use the new one instead. That is a BAD idea in most cases.
I recommend switching to Redline or Amsoil if you can't get the original spec from Honda.
