Dash cluster lights when key is in accessory
Hello. I just purchased a 2009 Honda Fit. When the key is in accessory is the check engine light supposed to illuminate? Just curious because mine doesn't. I couldn't find the answer in the owners manual. I just want to make sure the bulb wasn't tampered with or something.

No.

CEL should light when the ignition is in the run position (engine off)

Sorry it does display but it shows up on the RPM gauge. I'm an idiot.
