Relocating front licence plate - how?

How can I mount my bracket in open space without having to remove bumper cover? Removing the surround on top gives me access but I run into the crush bar.

Front License Plate Mount

Hi Black3sr! I specifically requested that the dealer NOT mount my front bracket, so as not to put holes in the front cover. When I got the car, I simply installed the bracket upside down. Hope this helps!

Looks sharp! If you don't want holes in the bumper at all, or don't like the look of it just plastered into the middle of the bumper cover, there is a company that makes a plate bracket that threads into your tow-hook hole. They don't specifically list Honda, but it's a starting point...:

Thanks guys. I do not mind putting a plastic plug in the hole and I have a can of touch up paint to match it.

Now I have a tow hook but would be willing to replace it with one of those kits. Just need to know the thread size of their bolt.

Platypus license plate mount.

Edit: There are cheaper versions on Amazon, too.
