Greetings, I have been looking for an answer on this issue for a few years...and cannot find an answer.

Car: 2009 Honda Fit Sport, 99k mi

Issue: When we press the unlock button on the key fob [remote], the driver's door always unlocks [this is expected]. When we press the unlock button on the key fob a second time...all the other doors and trunk unlock...well, this is what happens most of the time. Except, when it gets warm out. In the summer...one has to press the unlock button the key fob many times to get all the other doors/trunk to unlock...about 5-10 presses.

Also, during the warmer months...once the doors unlock, the doors continue to unlock several times...up to 10 times via the unlock actuator...the lights do not flash each extra unlock event [again, the driver's door always unlocks on the first press and never does this].

Over this last winter, we did not have an issue...but the last few days, the weather warmed up and the issue came right back.

I am thinking it is an issue with the MICU...is that possible? I have not seen how to replace it...or is it possible to replace DIY or do you have to use the dealership?

I want to get this fixed before my door lock actuators wear out!
