Front Passenger Side Motor Mount Replacement

Hi All,

I need to replace Front Passenger Side Motor Mount. OEM Part Number 50822-TK6-901. This is for a 2nd Gen Honda Fit AT.

Overall procedure (Please correct if my steps are wrong)
1. Jack up engine slightly with 2x4 or 1x6 block of wood under oil pan.
2. Disconnect Motor Mount Bracket
3. Disconnect Motor Mount and replace
4. Lower engine back down.

Questions I have,
Does anyone have torque settings for the bolts (both for the motor mount and the Bracket)
Has anyone tried using the Generic version, looks like they go for about $30-40 for one mount or about $80 for all three mounts). Is there a specific aftermarket version that people are seeing more success with?
Should I not bother with aftermarket and just get the OEM version (about $130 right now).

Thanks in advance.

Few Questions

I'd get the OEM ones.

People have had issues with cheap aftermarket ones on Civic's.

Yeah it's 4x the cost but you are saving money by DIYing so $130 to do what the dealer would be doing is good IMO.
