Hey everybody, currently in the process of replacing my expansion valve and I'm having some trouble getting the refrigerant lines off the evaporator core. I have tried prying it off with a flathead, however I'd rather not damage the connections



Is the current state of affairs. Can't find much about how to do the repair, Haynes and YouTube gloss over exactly where I am stuck!

Had to undo the hose behind the engine. Only ever saw this one mentioned to remove evaporator, so I just assumed. You know what they say...

Bent the crap out of the hoses in the picture, going to replace
