Aftermarket receiver - install double-sized in non-nav sport?

Hello! I'm installing my subwoofer next weekend (can't wait!) and am waiting to see how my fit's sound system sounds after that. But I'm expecting due to the lack of decent EQ settings, and low power (plus pretty crappy iPod controls...) that I'll be purchasing an aftermarket receiver from Crutchfield.

My question is: since i have the non-nav version of the Fit sport, would I be able to install a double-sized system? Not sure if I'll need one, but I'd like to have the option.

Would I need to get a special mounting kit?

If there are posts in this forum already related to this, just point me there... thanks!

Lisa

yah, check Crutchfield: LCD TV, Car Stereo, Home Theater, Speakers, Plasma TV and they should show either a metra or scosche install kit which comes with a new bezel and the 2din opening, a couple of accessories for
mounting the new HU, etc.
