Looking good. I like the wheels more now for some reason. The red badge really works on those white cars. Type r y0!

WOW that crazy weather for any car or any THING to go through. Im really surprised that cars can even be started in that kind of environment. Im such a california native. When it's winter I'm thinkin "ah man it might rain this week which means i dont get to wash my car" or "it might down in the 40's today i better wear a light jacket" LOL. But i would love to visit Canada someday.

And my lip is holding up just fine heres some pics

Let's get an update on the lip please. I've been reading this thread for the last twenty minutes or so. I feel like I've been watching a good t.v. show and the last episode is missing from the series lol. Trying to find out the "fate of the lip"

I love how the snow is just packed into the grill. Does that cause any overheating issues with limited air flow. I guess in that temperature it impossible for anything to OVERheat haha. Bummer that the lip has given up the ghost but in the spring you can just spend 13 more dollars and have a brand new one. not bad if it last a year or so.

UPDATE:

Well since I have installed my lip I have had no problems so far. I have hit the lip against parking curbs and curbs and would get out of my car to see it bent but when I back up it is fine. It has gotten a little dirty and seemed to lose its blackness but I just use Armor All tire shine spray and spray the lip to make it glisten

But so far all is well. But I also did not have to drive in the snow like others haha. But still I wonder how mine would hold up in the snow cause I used tons of screws!

same here, just use armorall protectant for interior and plastic and it seems to keep it looking better than new. I think it also helped to loosen the rubber a little bit so it wasn't sticking straight out and probably helps with the occasional scrape being that the rubber is softer and looser rather than dried out and brittle. one of my favorite mods that was a diy for sure glad i found this and thanks for writing it up

lol...i thought that pic was a good one too. the fog lights are in there somewhere too eh. as for the lip, theres pieces here and there hanging, and it looks like i have something broke off my car. i get ppl saying to me all the time...man, you broke something on the front of your car...i laugh and say yeah. i'll take some pics this weekend of whats left. i've been working 5 ten hour shifts a week now and traveling 100kms each way...so i leave in the dark and get home in the dark. glad you've been having fun with the thread. new lip for spring for sure, maybe work on making it look a bit lower......i got some ideas

Looks good when you cover it in duct tape

Dude I am digging the duct tape on the lip! I am gonna go by me some zebra patterned duct tape today! And as far as the update on my lip, well after scraping a ton (damn tyler streets) and hitting curbs when I park, it is still on. Yup, still holding on strong!

Will post a pic if I can find some zebra tape to put on my fit. I have been trying to figure out a low cost way of pimpin the fit
