HELP Disable Daytime Running Lights???
Hi people I own a 2009 Red Fit and I just installed a pair of headlights to make it cooler.
Unfortunately I wasnt able to disable the DRL and the headlights keep turning on every time and release my E-brake.
I heard pulling off the #15 fuse would disable the DRL
But I dont know how and which one to pull ><

How did I know which fuse to remove? !SURPRISE! I read my manual... specifically the section that shows you exactly which fuse does what... including which fuse is for the DRL. !SURPRISE!
It's been awhile, so I don't remember which fuse it was. I'm not making a trip to my car to find out again either... you can do the same thing for yourself, feel like you accomplished something, and solve your problem immediately.
Good luck with your fuse-finding venture!

The OP's problem is, he doesn't know which one is #15.
Hence my comment about looking to the side. There's a fuse layout printed onto the panel.

You may want to leave the car running but not necessarily have headlights on.
When I leave my girlfriend in the car for a few moments and leave the car on so she can have heat or a/c, I don't like that the lights stay on and announce that the car is running. Especially since she doesn't have a power door lock switch on her side to lock the doors behind me.
Not making it easy for the passenger to lock or unlock the doors is a poor design imo. And I need to get down there and pull that fuse.

DRLs are of marginal use
For these reasons, DRLs never qualify for state laws requiring headlights, such as when it is raining or other hazardous conditions. Headlights and tail lights are required by law. Under poor visibility conditions, closely-spaced DRLs can make a vehicle appear farther away than it really is.
DRLs do provide a marginal safety advantage if you don't use your headlights. I use my headlights all the time so they are just a nuisance to me.
