Thank you sir!!
Car just got picked up, heading north.
Stopping at a drift event in Wall on its way up.
Hope to have it fixed by the end of the week.

Anyone have experiences with aftermarket (stage 1, 2 or 3+) clutches for our fits?
Just shopping around.

Most likely slave cylinder/master cylinder OR fluid issue. Start simple and work your way through. It could also be a bad pivot bearing or clutch fork, but it's highly unlikely.

Transmission issues usually produce a lot of noise, and normally, it will start with small issues then break.

Get it fixed yet? I'm curious as to what extent the damage was.

Yes!! It's all fixed up. Transmission was perfect. No issues there!! (Thanks for the $4000 filler estimate Avalon Honda). The pressure plate was messed up. One of the springs came off and got jammed in there. The throwout bearing was destroyed. New clutch and new bearing, cars back on the road. Managed to have my coilovers installed too while tranny was apart!!

glad it was just the pressure plate. These Hondas dont excatly spit out engines or transmissions like that.

Make sure you stop in at that dealership and explain what the issue was. If they initially had charged you for diagnosis, I would ask for some sort of discount on any maintenance parts.
