My 09 Fit Sport's Front Passenger and Tailgate lock are malfunctioning. They will work in the morning when I first drive the car, but later on in the afternoon and evening they do not work.

The keyless entry remote does not unlock them. The door trigger does not unlock them. The auto unlock when I turn off the vehicle does not unlock them.

Again, this is only on the front passenger and tailgate locks. All the other locks function properly.

Any ideas how I can fix them?

 

You're gonna have to diagnose it. It could be a wiring issue or something in the latch actuator mechanism itself (it has mechanical and electrical bits inside too).

 

A similar thing just happened to me tonight. My 2010 sport locked and the passenger side will not unlocked, whether I use the fob or the key
