2nd gen keyless entry driver's door issues

Hey everyone, my first post!

I have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport with factory keyless entry. Recently the keyless remote will lock and unlock all doors EXCEPT the driver's door.

If I manually lock the drivers door with the key, the keyless entry won't lock or unlock ANY door, though the parking lights will flash. Once I unlock the drivers door the keyless remote will work on all the other doors, still not the driver's door.

Any hints as to what might be causing this?

Maybe the combo switch has gone bad.

I'll be hitting the 100k mark in the next few days.

Hey Goobers,

thanks for the suggestion. By combo switch do you mean the key fob itself?

I had a CRV with that problem - well past 100miles - it was a power lock mechanism in the door that wore out and had to be replaced. Got the driver's door problem fixed and about 20k later the passenger door power lock failed. About 20k or so later the passenger rear doorlock failed. Since there was only the two of us, I never got that rear door fixed, and just made we kept it manually locked.
