100,000 Mile Maintenance Recommendations
So I know the maintenance minder show codes for the standard replacement items (plugs, fluids, etc.), but when reaching 100,000 miles, what maintenance would you recommend is performed for a 2009 Fit?

I do my maintenance at shorter intervals than most, but if they haven't been done recently, I'd do all fluids, plugs, coil packs, check brake pads, check any rubber boots/bushings/engine mounts/etc., check the shocks/struts for leaks, etc.

Typically, the exhaust valves TIGHTEN. (decrease in clearance) They will NOT make noise if tight.
The consequence would be misfires or burned valves.
BTW I thought the service schedule said 110K miles for checking valve clearance. We've checked them twice on our GD (at 60K and 115K), and several were out-of-spec each time.
The consequence would be misfires or burned valves.

I personally believe the short coil life is a result of the lack of a valve adjustment, it causes a loss of compression and the spark needs more current to jump the gap if the compression is lower.. Overworks the coils.

You will pay thru the nose both for parts and labor at a dealer.
Aftermarket, the OEM Denso plugs are around $8.50 ea USD, and the coil packs (Hitachi with the part number ending in 053) are around $40 each. (This, from Rock Auto)
Best to find an independent Honda specialist near you to do the work if you don't weant to DIY. 'Specialist' is the key word. You want a repair facility either with HONDA in the name [EG, "Joe's Honda Repair"], or a back lot FULL of Hondas and Acuras.
Valve Adjustment is a labor thing (no parts are usually needed), so since labor rates vary, best to get a quote or two.
