Please use this post to share your knowlege in speaker upgrades for an HONDA FIT GE8

I was wondering if someone has try the Pioneer TS-A1685R??? is there enough housing in the front & rear doors??

I found these adapters on Aliexpress (compared to OEM Speakers seems to be same size)

Any brand is carry a brand, there's your answer. Thant said, you might as well keep the stock speakers.

 

Finally I decided to install the Pioneer TS-A1685R in my Front Doors, i can confirm there is enough housing space to install those speakers and the adapters from Aliexpress works very good.

Here you're some pictures

Front Door - Gathers Speakers GS-5060XL - Honda Access P/N 08a38-0h0-550 (now in my Rear Doors)


Honda-Acura Speaker Mount Plates Adapters



Install first the Speaker Mount using the factory screw, then use the Metra 72-7800 Honda and Acura Speaker Adapter Harness Connector (available on AMAZON or EBAY)


Finally use some screws to fix the speakers (I use screws 6x5/8 and some fixing rings)

I went with Polk audio DB 165s shallow mount. I'm still installing right now have the doors pulled off and my Rockford amp all set up just have to finish dropping them in. I'll post some pictures when I'm done.

I'm thinking to replace my rear speakers by ALPINE SPR-60 6.5" 2-WAY COAXIAL SPEAKERS

Tweeters are OK for now, I don't need more high tones.

If someone has information about Foam Speaker Buffles, seems to be a good product to protect the speakers from water leaks but I don't know if its will affect the speakers performance.

Do you think that these adapter rings would be a direct fit to 2012 Jazz/Fit? As your aliexpress link is not working anymore
