HELP! Sound System 2013 Fit

I am a current college student and well my going away gift was a Honda Fit 2013 Base 5-Speed Manual. I freaking love this car unfortunately I don't have much money. What are some good cheap sound upgrades I could do?

What do you want to accomplish with the upgrade—what areas are you thinking the factory stereo is particularly deficient? The answer may help you decide what direction is the best use of your limited budget.

A very cheap upgrade for more convenience is a USB flash drive to put all your music on (assuming you aren't using the iPod interface). The head unit will scroll through the folders and files in the order that they physically are located in the disk directory, so if you want a particular ordering, such as alphabetical, you need to start with a fresh format and then copy things in that order. I wrote a little script to do that for me from my Mac.

buy a headunit of your choice, plenty of good units for like $100-$200bucks.. super nice to have Bluetooth and usb in 2019. I like pioneer and alpine products. The amp rating out of the aftermarket head unit better than stock.Once, paired with a decent pair of speakers and you’ll be on your way. Best bang for buck. Headunit + front and rear speakers. Crutchfield.com has a great website where you put your car make and model and they show you what fits, they also supply kits that make for a easy install but compare prices once you find what you like.

I suggest you learn to do the install yourself to save some money so you can buy decent speakers and headunit. With YouTube videos it’s pretty easy these days. Otherwise you’re looking at 100 dollar headunit, $100 for front+rear speakers, $100+ in professional install, $50 dash kit and wiring

Or you just upgrade to a $250+ range Apple car play headunit and have it installed. Headunit install should be about 60-80
