Wiring Aux Device Behind Dash?

I'm looking to add bluetooth functionality to my Base 2012 Honda Fit using an external Bluetooth device that is powered through a car charger and connected to the vehicle with an AUX cable.

Would it somehow be possible to wire up the AUX cable behind the dash instead of just plugging the AUX cable into the front AUX port? I want this installation to be as clean as possible.

Yes you can. Pull panels off to get at it. I wired my heated seat pads in there to the Aux and put the switches in the lower panel.

I ended up going back to the cheaper unit with two plugs - one for the headphone jack and one for the Lightning connector. The Lightning connector on the more expensive unit wouldn't seat properly and kept disconnecting so it's now sitting on a shelf.
