Or paint them in an 80s color scheme of neon pink on one side, and aqua blue on the other.

They look great to me. If you have room to have 2 sets of wheels and tires, why not? It'll give you an extra set to use if you need them while shopping for new tires at a reduced price or just to rotate with another set to extend the life of a set of seasonal tires.

The rims themselves are only 16.5 or 17 lbs.... something like that... near the same weight as the stock GE sport rims (I think that's what stocks weigh).

They're not really any lighter, but they relieve my concern of mounting wheels heavier than stock. I actually made up my mind I would not settle for anything heavier.

very nice indeed

I thought they were nice too... I just wasn't sure about the offset and how they'd look on my GE.

Bet they'd look really nice in the black chrome, against the Blue Sensation color.

Up and until a week or so ago I've been so busy I barely see my wife an hour a day. The only time we've had is on Sundays... and even that's partially taken.

Hopefully I have a break coming up and I can get those two DIYs posted, and possibly slap these wheels on (after the crap cold and weather go away, that is). I've had an extra hour here and there for posting lately... that's about it. Even then, I'm working on the computer and posting in between.

I could be completely broke and out of work like some peeps these days. So, no complaining here. Lotta' stresss though. No actual vacation in 5-6 years!

So I'm probably going to go ahead and keep these rims. I could definitely do worse, both looks wise, and what I paid for them.

Hope things are well with you! Haven't seen you on much lately either. Then again, how could I when I'm not around?

Those rims should be 16.5 lbs., and the stock ones are about a pound more. That's unsprung weight, and makes a difference.

I'll be interested to see what they look like on there. Pretty cool, angular design, that matches the Fit's character.

I like. especially at the $35/wheel price. I like sporty but not too over the top. i wonder what they'd look like in white... on a White Fit. I think White on Blue would look great too.

Not feeling the black/black look. i'm not a fan of Black or really dark wheels anyway. they make a car look like it is on steelies. A light Gunmetal maybe...

See... to each his/her own, but I'm not really a huge fan of white rims. They look really nice in certain instances, it's just not for me.

I agree with the black/black, black/dark thing too. Although, lately I've seen some black on black rides which actually look hot. I agree about the "pseudo-steelies look" issue in a lot of instances though.

If I painted the wheels dark it would be black chrome. Black chrome kinda' reminds me of only a slightly darker, smoked mirror effect. It's still chrome... just a bit darker and more metallic looking than plain chrome. Kinda' like mercury.

Anyway, any darker than that against the BSP isn't for me.

Oh you guys...... I would put baby shit yellow and green wheels on my car if they were the lightest roadworthy wheels I could find to fit on my car and the price was right.

And ya' know what, Coyote? I believe that!

Actually, you're possibly one of the most logical on this forum. The baby $h!t yellow and green may be a little distracting, but you can't argue with your "lightest roadworthy wheels you can find" logic.

Me? It's gotta' look good to me or I don't even want to drive it, let alone look at it.

Living in a world of shit and rednecks that have more shit in their boots than on the outside has advantages.... A vehicle driven by a lot of people here is looked upon as a trailer queen if it has a clean windshield and isn't caked with mud from top to bottom.... I have rotated my tires and changed my oil many times more than I have washed my car and have pulled and checked the plugs more times than it has been waxed.... I know that sounds bad but I have gone close to 3 months without changing clothes or bathing except in the rain but all of my issued equipment was always ready to go... I let my car and dog sleep inside just because I like them.

Hey, when you are right, you are right.

I'm going to swing by the paint store and ask them for "Baby Shit Yellow"...just to see their reaction....
