Long time FF lurker, finally here's a few pics of my FIT
I was totally gonna reply with a bad ass post saying "See me at the 'Ring" with a dope ass picture I took on the first concrete banked corner on the Nurburgring (not sure of the name of it) but since I don't have gold I can't post it online...pissed. That other thread will be fun though. Anyways, I grabbed the camera and tried to take a few shots but of course storms moved in and will be here for the remainder of the night.
A quick snap..

Interior has remained pretty much the same..

Here's a pic of my shift knob that I'm not sure I shared with you guys or not...it's shaped after the TWM Big Type R knob and is perfectly weighted..

It's hard to see the engraving but here's a better pic..

A friend of mine does CNC machining and made it for me. All I had to do was give him the dimensions I wanted and he surprised me with the shift pattern and logo...'twas a great surprise.

More to come very soon..

some more..

Ass shot. Painted the exhaust tip black...got sick of trying to keep the damn thing clean.

Blacked out basically everything on the hub, you can see a pattern here.

I'll be getting the STI v.204 lip soon...I think it'll really finish the exterior off.

Some fun with a friend's turbo-D EK.
More whoring to come soon, once again.
Not powdercoated...just Rustoleum gold, can't remember the exact name. Not the best job, and I honestly should re-do the fronts because they're alittle rough but whatever...still not too bad.
Yea...after I finished I did feel that some of the aggressiveness was missing. Totally understand what you mean. I just get too damn bored easily and need change.

You should try Kumho Ecsta 4X rubber next go 'round... I noticed you were using Kumho at the beginning of this thread. The 4x's are relatively inexpensive, they're as sticky as any all-season I've ever used (actually more than most), and as an added bonus they are GREAT in snow. They're rated with the best for winter performance... just shy of going all out snow (winter) tires.
I've had mine for 30,000+ miles, still have half the tread left if not more, they hug the road around corners like glue, and when I used them in a fairly decent snow last year they didn't slip/slide once. My wife also has them on her ride and it did the snow like champs.
Anyway... they're REALLY cheap considering their great rating at Tire Rack, and the performance I've gotten from them. I noticed your Pennsylvania plates, and I immediately thought "snow".
In case you're interested!

Yea...PA winters blow lol. I'm actually running the old version of those tires, the ASX. They are pretty much the same as you described the 4X being (I even heard they were the autocross wet tire of choice for a few years before companies started putting out more choices) so I can imagine how good they really are. They're most likely going to be my next tire.
