I purchased these from the same ebay seller mentioned above. I belive they are made specifically for the ge8 mirror. They fit perfectly and even say FiT on them.

I was wondering with the backseats with no center arm rest are you thinking of a table in the back or just trays?

Would a dremel work or to close to the panel?

I guess dremel can work too but working your way into those tabs can be very difficult and might damage the panel. you need to cut your way as flat as possible, I even used a filleting knife at one point. some of the tabs were melted and pressed down way too much which was really pissing my little OCD in me off. Also, I don't want to make the holes bigger than they already are.

I'll be fastening the panels back with truss head tapping screws.

don't get clazzio material for door panels, they are stiff and would be a bish to conform into. upholstery shops has tons of materials to closely match clazzio colors. the material I chose for the door panels and the center part of the headliner (my headliner is two toned like the clazzio seats) is very soft and will stretch to form very well.

on my way to drop off the pieces to be upholstered... wires hanging and headliner on top of my head...

everything is pretty straight forward except the sun visor... it's a PITA it's almost impossible to take it out without damaging the mounts. everything is plastic on plastic. it's held in place with a locking plastic that you need to push and turn... I messed up and mangled both sides, fixable tho. FU honda! why can't you just use screws?!?!?!

What kind of plastic connectors in the head lining? The one thing at least the head lining is not hard plastic. Can not wait to see the results of your hard labor. Should also post in this thread to keep it alive. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-panels-7.html

I'll take some pics later. I was hoping the headliner were more rigid tho... it's like foam/paper.

I wish that headliner/door panel thread was more helpful. Also, not a single GE is in there. I can't wait for them to be done. If only my Clazzios were not a cluster fawk :/

One poster here had removed his headliner before (GE) for the purpose of sound deadening:

The picture of your head liner does look like foam. Some of the old head liners had bows across the top and just fabric attached.

mini update:

the good:
custom interior leather accessories are shipped via EMS Japan
new wheels just made it in the US
interior upholstery should be done by the weekend
hydro-dipping plastic pieces will follow after the interior is done (I'm still on the fence on which design/pattern)

the not so good:
the clazzio mix up is stalling the completion :/

Had to read up on the hydro-dipping, are you using this process on the actual door panels or using fabric?
