Hey guys, installed my s tech tonight. Cut the bump stop a bit and now the left is knocking on bumps while the right don't ??? Any tips?? Thanks

try rotating the spring till it locks into the rubber cup. i had the same problem when i had my GD3 and that seemed to fix the knocking. while you're down there you might as well check to see if the strut bolts are secure.

 

yea i did that already, has anyone has a photo on how the spring should sit on the top hat?

rear torsion on the fit is a pretty simple design so the knocking has to come from either a loose cabin strut bolt, a loose outside strut bolt, or the spring isn't making flush contact in its perch. if all those are fine then the knocking could be coming from something else: loose wheel lugs, loose spare tire, or a loose scissor jack maybe?

whatever it is i hope you're able to fix it soon. suspension noise can be a pain in the butt lol

 

All fix. Thanks gd3 wagoon. It was loose nut on the bottom of the sway bar rod. My mate forgot to tighten it back up. Lol. Phew. I can sleep at night now. Lol.
