GE Fit Sport with 15" wheels/tires?
Has anyone downsized their wheels to 15" wheels?
It seems like they are cheaper and lighter.
They wouldn't handle as well as the 16", but might give a more comfortable ride.

There's no reason why you couldn't- the base/Sport calipers and rotors are the same, so they'll fit, as long as your backspacing/offset matches up. Not to say they won't handle as well as 16's, but you add sidewall and remove solid metal, which adds compliance in the wheel/tire setup. I'd rather have a bit more sidewall and a lighter wheel/tire combo, as taller tires won't cook as quickly as lower-profile tires on the track. Also, lower unsprung weight pays greater dividends than lower sidewalls, within reason. Keep it 55-series and under, and you'll be fine.
Also, make sure your overall diameter stays close to stock (24.0-2" should be fine)- Mark W.

Not
If you use the same outer diameter tire.
I ordered some rims off EBay and plan on having them powder coated purple metallic to match the BBP...
Bought 195/60R-15 Yokohama AVID ENVigor's from Tirerack to put on it...
24.2" outer diameter...
