Question

If I buy rims off of say Craiglists does any 4x100 fit my ge8? Sorry for the stupid question but I have no idea with wheels or anything and have not learned anything about it. I am looking to get some new shoes for my ge8 but not sure what will "rub" or burn out fast due to specs. Will 4x100 215/40/R17 already mounted fit find without any burning the tread out? or Rubbing? If anyone can help me out that would be great!

Any 4x100 wheel will fit, factors to consider possible rubbing is the offset, height and width of the wheel and the width of the tire.

Oh ok thanks! Also my understanding is that you have to use aftermarket lug nuts for aftermarket wheels. Is that true? I'm not sure what lug nuts to buy for my OZ Superleggera wheels that are coming in.

TRUE. except for one tiny issue that can be HUGE! make sure your rims center hub bore is 56.1mm or higher, but try to stay as close to it as possible to reduce the size of the hubcentric rings youll need to run.I bought some rims one time 4x100 and the centerbore was tooooo small, really sucked. if you put in your vehicles info at tire rack itll tell you what fits. if u dont feel comfortable using the calculator call your order in, they have people thatll assist you through the whole process by phone.

I mean I bought it from craiglists but I believe tire rack sells them but I don't have the lug nuts. How is it possible to find out the dimensions of the lug nuts?

I would go to a reputable wheel/tire store in your area, and let them direct you to the correct hubrings as well as lugnuts. You will want to switch your TPMS sensors over to your new wheels as well so that the system can still alert you to a tire low on air. And be sure to post pics once you have them on!
