Two questions - Enkei 92 or Konigs?

Hello there!

I plan to purchase a 2012 Fit soon, and I'll be going with the Fit Sport. I think the fit definitely stands out/looks amazing when it's rockin' aftermarket wheels. Anyways here is my question

I've always wanted "mesh" like wheels, and after looking at a thread here, I saw a GD rockin' Enkei 92s. To my knowledge, they only make them in 15s and I am a bit hesitant on lowering my car, so for a stock ride height will the wheels be too small? It seems like the wheel well on the GEs might be a bit larger.

Second, if I can't rock the 92s, I was planning to go with the Konig Lace's. Which I would be purchasing here: Konig Lace Wheels - Wheel Size & Price Details - 1010tires.com

If I was to go with 17x7.5's which tires should I pair with them in terms of sizing? Thank you all so much!

I'm in contact with the konig dealer right now about getting the Lace rims. Also waiting on fitment because on the website it doesn't say that any of their wheels fit my fit (haha!). Anyways, I was deciding between the two, same as you, and I already have mine lowered so I decided to go with the Lace 17's.

Also side note... Merchants tire has them cheaper than the site you posted.

I don't think i'd like 92's on a GE, I think they look good on GDs though. 15's won't look great at stock height anyway. I'd like to say get the Enkeis but for you I don't think they fit your plans.

Get the 17's for stock height GE. It will look much better IMO.

Definitely not every single time. Most wheels in the price point of the 92 and the lace are going to be cast, so there is likely no measurable difference in quality.

That being said, Enkei makes some really quality stuff like RP01, NT03, PF01, etc. etc. while Konig makes pretty much only basic quality cast stuff.

So yeah, Enkei (as a brand) > Konig (as a brand)

To the OP, check out my thread, I've run tons of wheels in various diameters including 15's and 17's so maybe that will give you an idea that helps you make a decision!

These are American Racing Mesh, which are 14's. They are the same as a enkei 92 from back in the day fwi see. Should give you an idea. I will be lowering it as in that thread its stock height. Also for some reason I got them with 185/65s and 185/60s.....so figure that in.
