LrpTec Automotive aerodynamics - Cold Air Intake

So what do you guys think? And how about that front grille that allows all that cool air to come in. I know it's not usable on our platform (Maf sensor?) but it's eye candy.

To have a noticeable effect for performance you need to pressurized the intake manifold greater than normal earth air density like how turbo and sc compresses air,, a cone intake wont get this job done as cone filter slows down air flow,, better design are ram scoop intake of crz and gk as it scoops air and presses it into the intake manifold. Those chambered intake with short tubes are the best intake then do this grill shield seen here to isolate engine hot air from the intake

it looks the part

I wish these guys would be more up front about their pricing, instead of doing the whole "PM US FOR PRICING" thing that they are presently doing

Having installed multiple intake setups in the past on different Honda's, the only good setup I ended up with is the OEM setup. Retain the OEM air box, chop off the intake resonator with the tube still in the bumper then install a K&N drop-in filter. Unless you are moving, heat soaking in traffic is worse with aluminum tubing than rubber. It's a HOT air intake, not cold air intake, not practical for daily use.
