Exhaust system for 18 SPORT

Hey everyone, any thoughts on a quality exhaust for the 18 Fit Sport? My understanding is the HKS High Power Silent doesn’t work with the CVT? I can’t believe that really matters.

Thanks.

Nice. How do you like it? My understanding is because of the under spoiler that the HKS may not fit well unfortunately. I bought it in hopes that it will fit if not I will return.

I’m not sure if it’s for every thread but when I installed the exhaust it burnt my rear bumper because it was too close to it, an you have a different bumper with diffuser but what I did to mine I put a strap to make it lower and not too close to my rear bumper I had some pics but I lost it

Finally got the HKS HIGH POWER installed. Had it done at Meineke for $80. Very happy with it.

Thanks man, it’s an axle back. I also have a AEM intake which makes the car run better. I love the orange it’s an awesome color

I don’t think there is any HP gain for the axle back at least not for the exhaust I have.

Why do you think there isn't any HP gain for the axle back?

Just asking guys! Not saying I know either way.

i am not a mechanic nor has a lot of knowledge , but i will try my best to explain;

for performance gain, u need the engine to breath in and out better (breath in; forced induction breath out; exhaust)

however, by changing axle back, you are not making engine breath out better, hence not much performance increase.

in order to allow engine to breath out better, you need to go for catback system because it can actually allow engine to exhale more air out.

i know my explanation is pretty ugly, so i will leave link that does it better
