Catback/muffler gap?
Catback/muffler gap?
Hey I finally got around to installing my Tanabe Medallion Touring on my car. I'm just wondering about the gap between the mid/B pipe and the exhaust.
I left the exhaust gasket on and the flange from the muffler and b pipe have a gap, is that ok? Or should I remove the gasket and try to mount the flanges face to face?
the springs are holding it closed well enough, and there's no rattling. I never got instructions and couldn't find any so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I can post a picture when I get home from work.

Thank you for reassuring me Jing! Yeah it’s sealed against gasses, so I’m glad that’s how it fits.
