Google it. You will find a few US dealership who sell it as a pre-order part. Some don't mention it's a pre-order though. I find that shady... I haven't personally dealt with any of the ones I found so I can't say how good or bad they are. The price is high for an axle back but the quality of workmanship seems excellent.

I suspect once it is actually out, more dealers will announce it and have it up for sale.

 

I should have phrased the question differently (already looked up the list) - does any particular Tanabe dealer(s) have a particularly good reputation, etc.? Or just go by price/availability, etc.

I wrote to a dealer to know when they expected stock. They said end of August to early September !!!

So I'll have to install it just before the harsh winter ? Maybe I'll just go for something else.

 

My contact at Tanabe says to expect these to be available soon but didn't give me a specific timetable

I believe they might already be in the USA since they recently received a big shipment of things

The word 'Fit' looks like this --> フィット In Japanese.

The Japan site says they are out of stock until 6/12/15.

 

LOL, how soon is soon ? I wrote to 3 different dealers who have it on pre order and they all said August and maybe September... I have the license plate frame but not the exhaust !

I'm a little underwhelmed. Seems to me the Medalion sounded better on previous generations of Fit's. I still think it's the best looking aftermarket exhaust so far but sound wise, it doesn't do anything for me. I prefer the sound of the HKS or Bisi. I was about to pull the plug on this exhaust but now I'm not so sure.

Am I the only one that think the sound is not too great ?
