Any noticeable improvement on performance, namely acceleration and fuel economy? Been reading Honda4Life15's thread about his HKS universal set up and he noted the big difference in acceleration and power, especially when driving up hills. I'm a little hesitant to go that route simply because I'm interested in something relatively quiet(er) but with the performance benefits.

 

Without anyone posting actual before and after dyno numbers, it's all supposition... Anyone can say, oh it makes it feel faster but can they back it up with cold hard numbers?

For example, I just installed a rear sway bar. While it feels like it corners better, I have no idea if it can handle more g-forces.

With that being said, I'd buy the HKS exhaust again. No question...

 

Installed a HKS hi-power silent about half a year ago. I enjoy the deeper sound, polished shiny muffler, and it was a couple pounds lighter than the stock exhaust. But in terms of performance, didn't notice anything different or if there was, it must had been extremely insignificant.

 

This exhaust is excellent. Perfect tone and put together extremely well. Looks like the installer didn't do a good job of installing it. Mine went in in ten minutes, no problem. Defiantly recommend this upgrade.

 

I suppose you are being a bit defiant considering you're going against what the op said...

 

I don't like when people make broad statements against a company for a possible QC issue to installer error. Looked like a stripped bolt- easy to do because of the angle under there. HKS makes high quality stuff
