Installing Door Edge Guards
Not sure if this is the right subforum. Bought a 2015 Fit EX new. I wanted to self-install the edge guards, but the instructions call for removing the sealant, touch up, and rewax before malleting them on. Why?
I don't want to potentially damage the vehicle since it's new, but I want to put the guards on to help protect the paint. Can I just mallet the edge guards directly onto it?
