As we all know the JDM spoiler does not fit the US Fit, now Honda offer the same spoiler in 2018 and 2019 model, it does require drilling of 7 holes, plugin in the old hole, rerouting the washer spray. Very interesting, the spoiler come painted for $220...
It is different. The RS wing kind of stands off from the tailgate. I'm having a hard time liking the piece that drops down as well. I prefer more of the standard duck bill shape.
My local dealer offers the HFP wing for $399 installed.. that's hard to beat. Other options are an eBay wing and cross fingers on the paint match, or pay to paint locally. I'm getting quotes now for the Affection Desire wing from Japan, but that will be like $500 before paint. I'm not sure what I want to do.
I found in another thread where LegenD stated he thinks the new HFP items are actually Modulo items. I found this pic, and I think he is onto something. There is some small differences in the sideskirt, but that it could just be a change in how they paint it and where they mask.

no arguements on the cheap, and tacky part. I simply wanted to try it, and see if mpg's would benefit. I probably should have mentioned, that it'd be short term and would be removed sooner or later (probably when realization hits that mpg's did not improve)

Few things are more personal and subjective than car customization, and one mans junk is another mans treasure! Of course as a forum-bro, I’d offer constructive criticism if called for. But mostly, it’s a “hey, as long as you like it” deal.
I think everyone has done some errr, questionable mods in the name of experimentation... I’m certainly guilty. Taste usually wins out in the end, and you just go “Yeaaaah, that’s gotta come off”. Like curb feelers or chrome door trim, gold chain license plate frame (preferably with an eagle on top), tribal flame vinyls and random GT or S-TYPE emblems, lmao. I live in the hood, so I often see cars and trucks with seemingly EVERY tacky mod all on one sorry vehicle. But hey, not everyone can have the discerning tastes of a FitFreak!
