Phone Holder - my solution

after researching all of the 'phone holder solutions' for a 2015 Fit EX, this is the one i settled on

it consists of this 'dashboard' mount

Robot Check Robot Check

and this cup holder

Amazon.com : Universal Vehicle Cup Holder Mount Adapter w/ 3.5" 90mm Suction Mount Surface & Adjustable Base for All Standard Suction Mount such as Arkon ChargerCity Garmin Nuvi Magellan Roadmate TomTom XL XXL VIA Go Start GPS mounts & more to hold S Amazon.com : Universal Vehicle Cup Holder Mount Adapter w/ 3.5" 90mm Suction Mount Surface & Adjustable Base for All Standard Suction Mount such as Arkon ChargerCity Garmin Nuvi Magellan Roadmate TomTom XL XXL VIA Go Start GPS mounts & more to hold S

i find the location perfect (good reception on phone, and very visible, also accessible to 12v power outlet). it's solidly mounted, and easy to remove.

i hope this helps

Looks good. I'm using a holder with a magnet. Not sure if you've heard of the imagnet mount but you can check it out here. iMagnet Mount, original magnetic car phone mount holder stand

I can't give up that spot for a phone. The vent there keeps my coffee hot in the winter and my soda cold in the summer.

I can't give up a cup holder either, I love that cup holder and its location! Also my old phone mount I used to have clamped the phone on the sides which made the very outer edges of the screen hard to access so typing some things was difficult while it was mounted. With this new mount there's no obstruction of the screen at all.

I've been using the
Okra Universal Magnetic Vent Car Mount Okra Universal Magnetic Vent Car Mount
.
It uses rare a earth magnet and a thin metal plate to hold the phone. Looks good and works like a charm. Oh and it was only $10.00. I have the thin metal plate in between the phone and the case. I use a the leather apple case on my iPhone 6 and it's slim enough that it does not make the case bulkier or anything like that.

Always good to have options! Here's a CD mount option that I used.

I like the Okra magnetic mount. I will probably end up getting it once I have my fit!
