phone mount for small window?

I have a 2015 Honda Fit LX, and I have been using the Tsuchiya Yack holder (the cup holder one):
Amazon Amazon
for the past year. However, it is just a bit too low for me, and I feel distracted.

Is there are a good mount for attaching to the small window above the dash that would allow me to angle it so that it is not blocking too much of my windshield view, but is also not blocking my heat/air vents?

I'd assume it would need to have a long-ish arm or something. Note: I am looking for portrait mount only - no landscape gps-style mount.

There seems to be few places on the Fit for a mount. The vent ones block AC in summer and bake the phone in the winter when the heat is on.

Thanks

This is my 2nd Honda Fit, so I like them.
But IMO a weakness of The Fit, is the thick front window columns that IMO create quite a bad forward vision blind spot, even with the cut out windows.

I have gotten into the habit of doing quite a bit of moving, looking all around when pulling out from a stop. I have to look around the blind spots created by the column.

Therefore, I'm really against ANYTHING that blocks that small window, to any capacity.

I've been using the
Scosche MAGDMB MagicMount Scosche MAGDMB MagicMount
mounted in the center of my gauge cluster. It stays in line of view, not too obtrusive, great for navigating. It does hide your turn signal lamps, and up to 40mph but 45-100mph is all I need so it doesn't bother me too much.

Thanks everyone.

kenchan - that looks promising. I may try this. I also just ordered this:
Amazon Amazon
to see if using my left cup holder will work. It seems to have enough height.

yah, proclip sells cradles that match your phone so you can hard wire your power too and just slide in your phone when you get into your car. very convenient.

but then again, really depends how much you want to spend on a phone mount. the one you show from amazon looks functional enough.

I use the MagicMount as well, but decided just to stick it near the headunit: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ml#post1372253

It's a little in the way, but honestly don't mess w/ the head unit much while driving. I like it there as it's more natural to look there, than the left cup holder area like I had it before (https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ml#post1314882)

I had a suction mount, but since I have tinted windows I did not want to chance a suction mount on the tint.
