Post FootWell Lighting (Interior Illumination - 08E10-T5A-100)

While installing some stereo items ... went ahead and installed some footwell lighting. For those who need the PN and instructions:

Interior Illumination - Honda (08E10-T5A-100)

Bad photos, I know. here is a stock image to better show what it looks like with actual good photography

(MODS, I'm not sure if I was supposed to post in interior forums, or illumination forums. apologies if this is not the correct place)

It's for GK Jazz. And in case you prefer white instead of blue, the part number is 08E10-T5A-600A. That's what I have. It has a dim ambient lighting when front lights are on and brighter when doors are open.

I have that option in my car. I love it!

Get the optional blue light trim shifter ring and blue light door sills also.

Thank you guys for all the ideas!

Does anyone know where all these accessories are plugged into? (if I go with the footwell lighting, do I have enough places to draw power for the door sills?)
Also, are they LED's? (less power drawn).

Yes, they are LEDs, and there is a connector on the fuse box for accessories. Please see the assembly instructions of the footwell ambient lighting linked in first post of this thread. Instructions for the illuminated door sill trims are here: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/in...orsilltrim.pdf

There may be differencies between the model years 15-17 and 18-20.

I got the same footwell lighting and added some 5050 waterproof strips operating on the dome light instead of the headlights. door sill plates are on the same circuit.

Overall picture of the door sill and foot well lighting.

Added foot well lighting. These are brighter than the OEM illumination kit and are operated by the Dome light circuit. The door sills are connected to the dome light circuit as well. I do have the OEM light kit as well which is operated when the headlights are turned on.
