Fixed problem?

Hello, I just bought a 2019 Honda Fit a few months back and it’s making the same clicking noise in the rear windshield, even after the car is off. I pressed on the window to see if it makes the same noise when pressed and it seems to be the read windshield. We’re you able to pinpoint the root of the problem and fix it?

Same ticking issue with my 2019 Fit LX. It occurs when the cold car sits in the sun facing the rear hatch. It's expansion of dissimilar parts-related and I've been able to replicate it every time this winter. It's noisy when you're parked and on a call. I'm having the STealer check it out to get it on record next time I'm in for service. (As I posted in another discussion - mark your Front tires before you pay to have the repair shop rotate them. The STealer didn't rotate mine and it took a bit of work to get them to issue a refund.)

Here's the sound my 2019 LX makes when it is cold but sitting in the sun - especially loud when the rear hatch is facing the sun. Today's recording is at 45 °C with full New England sun.

I hate to ask the patently obvious, but are you sure that the center rear seat belt is perfectly secure in the roof?

After listening to the audio in the Zip file, I cannot help asking.

I'll have to check that - but this audio file (and the noise) only occurs when the car is OFF (not moving) and sitting with the rear facing the sun on a cold day.

I have the same noise i think. Almost sounds like water dripping on the rear window or roof. Happens after i park typically, and in dry conditions.

2018 clicks too, very annoying and loud

I have a 2018 and it makes a clicking sound as well, sounds like a plastic bit making the sound against metal or another plastic piece. Does not sound like thermal expansion due to the semi regular nature of the clicking and the pacing of the clicking as well as how long the clicking lasts. Not ruling it out, but doesn’t sound like any thermal noises I’ve ever heard before.
