2019 Fit Bluetooth Issues / Loud High Pitched Noise
Hey all,
I've recently purchased a 2019 Fit and I'm absolutely in love with it. However, I'm having issues with the HandsFreeLink and can't find any information online of people having similar issues. Sometimes HandsFreeLink will not load at all. When the 'phone' button is pressed, the loading screen with appear, but then disappear without any options to place a call, connect a device, etc loading. When it does load, I'm able to connect my phone and play audio, however almost every time after 10-20 minutes, HandsFreeLink will crash, kick my phone off, and begin playing a very loud, high pitched noise. Then I won't be able to start HandsFreeLink unless I completely shut the car off. Even then it'll take another 10-20 minutes to boot. I'm not sure if this is something that other Fit owners have encountered, but I can't find similar experiences online. It's not my phone either, because I've used three other test phones from friends and the same thing happens. Two were iPhones, and the other two (mine, and another friend) were Android. Has anyone else experienced this, or is this something that I would potentially have to go to the dealership for?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wanted to post an update to this. Unfortunately the dealer that I had purchased the Fit from was being very very picky about a warranty repair on the radio. Despite showing them videos of the issue, they refused to service it.
I took the vehicle to another Honda dealership, who warrantied the radio upon showing them a video of the issue I was having. They had the radio out and replaced within a few hours, and I have not had this issue since the fall of 2019. If you are encountering this issue in your Fit, it seems a new radio is the only fix. I have not seen any other issues related to this online, so I think I just unfortunately had a bad radio in my car.
