I'm this close to getting rid of my car over a mysterious rattling sound.

Hey guys I finally took a video of the sound. You hear it, right? Am I crazy?

I'm getting an oil change Monday. Either they fix it or I'm tearing my headliner off.

Yeah, totes hear it. Sounds almost like a suspension squeaking but way too consistent. Did they not put enough adhesive in a body weld?? I hope you get this looked at.

Not sure what a body weld is. All I know is when I push up on the headliner while driving the sound stops.

Finally got an update.
I dropped my car off today for diagnostics. They had to drive around with the headliner off touching all 32(?) parts up there while driving to see which made the noise.
They're confident that it has to do with a pillar airbag thing, and that the attachment is causing it to rattle.
Apparently this is a big to-do so they're keeping my car until tomorrow.
I get to pay $300 to make my car silent! Woo hoo! I really hope this'll be the end of this.

More specifics.
They said it was a wire that would sometimes pop out of a track and vibrate between an airbag assembly and a bolt. They had to remove an ungodly amount of things to get to it. They said the sound is now gone and if it returns they'll fix it for free.
Time to pick up my car and see for myself!

i was riding in a test drive for a 2016 and noticed this exact same sound coming from
the headliner. I was riding in the back and made a note of it. Test drover another fit different model color and it didn’t have the sound. I’m certain there is a common issue with that cable.
