Can I leave my fog lights in the on position all the time?

So if I leave my fog lights on and turn the car off they turn off with the auto headlights. Anyone think this will cause any sort of issues if I just keep them in the on position constantly? This is my third Fit but first one with fog lights (and auto headlights). I salvaged my led headlights from my 15 fit which was unceremoniously smashed into and written off, so I plan on pulling the drl fuse and instead of going through the trouble of running a switch for the fog lights (to use as drl) it would be nifty if I could just keep them in the on position all the time.

Well shoot, I didn’t realize they will only turn on with the headlights...I guess I’ll have to wire them to a switched on power source after all. I’d like to find where the wires run and see if I can get at them somewhere else than the wheel well. I have the sport model so I think I’d have to remove the front trim to get at them under the wheel well? Although if I do that I can put some leds in there....just font want to start breaking clips

I leave mine on all of the time. I also drive with my lights on in the daylight to be seen better.
