Door Unlock Options with Key Fob
Door Unlock Options with Key Fob
Currently, when I click the unlock button on the key fob, the driver's door unlocks. To unlock all other doors and the hatch, I have to click the unlock button a 2nd time. Is there the option of unlocking all doors with one click of the unlock button? Note: Only one click is necessary to lock all doors and the hatch.

On the other hand, the facelift car loses the CD player. I'm old, sue me.

How is the owner's manual no help? It clearly doesn't have a list of button option because there aren't any. You already answered your own question in the first post. And if the key fob did have other functions they would for sure be listed there. Like every other basic feature of these vehicles. People are always getting mad when you don't spoon feed them answers that they don't want to read. smh
There is no other unlock features.

Your assumption is not true. There are features that the manual does not cover. Show me where you can disable the locking of doors when the car is in motion. That feature is found in a Honda bulletin not in the manual.

+1
I find the FIT locking system annoyingly complex. I finally figured out how to disable the "auto locking" when the car is in motion.
Also, would it kill them to add a simple button to unlock the trunk alone?!

Separate trunk unlock circuit would be nice, but budget cars gonna budget lol... me and my LX are happy there’s remote entry lol. So this is all I could find:

and this old thread:

I hope you can figure out what you’re looking for

I wasn't clear. I was referring specifically to the inability to customize unlocking at the driver door handle so that all 4 doors would unlock, instead of a two step process where the driver opens the door and has to then pull the lock button on the door, or use the fob and double plip. 2015 to 2017 does not allow this particular customization.
[QUOTE=wasserball;1458697] You’re right.... the manual doesn’t tell you how to disable VSC, just tells you how you can “kind of” turn it off (partially) with the VSC button on the dash. There’s a dance you have to do with the ignition on, and dance through having the brakes on and off with the button off and on in a certain sequence....although am sure Honda doesn’t want to tell the average moron how to do it, to cover their arse.... but it’s possible, takes maybe a minute, but when you shut the car down it reverts to VSC enabled each time
