Recently, I noticed rattling/rumbling noises (it sounds like it's coming from the back of the car, but I could be wrong) when I:
- start from a stationary position with 1st gear engaged (i.e. red light turns green and I accelerate)
- make a turn (either from a stationary position or I'm in motion)

If it sounds like it’s coming from the rear, start troubleshooting there... check suspension mounting points - the Fit has a simple rear design, although I doubt it’s coming from there given the circumstances you described... check your muffler mounting points, but from the sound of it, it could be motor mount or tranny mount... At your mileage, the manual gearbox fluid should still be good - I think Honda recommends change it every 60000 miles, iirc. I’d say motor or tranny mount... but I’ve been wrong before... more than once
Good luck getting it sorted

Good point... Could be, forgot to add that to my short list ....never had a loose spare, but have had the clamps of my jumper cables rattle back there - I "wrap" it around the spare - have ever since put an old heavy sock or glove or something on them to prevent metal to metal contact, works well enough
I started getting an annoying rattling several weeks after buying my new-to-me 2018 sport. Turns out it was the license plate I had just put on there days before. Seems when only the top screws are in, it rattles like mad. Good news is it was a simple fix of adding the two bottom screws (which did not come with the car).
