Would I need a new (used) climate control unit if the backlight on the right knob (the one setting the modes - passenger/windshield etc) is out? Has anyone had that problem in one of these knobs? Is it an LED?

 

 

 

No idea... we have a ‘15 LX, my daily driver.... I’d probably just live with it not working, but am SURE if it was my lady love’s DD, she’d want it fixed. We’ve been really lucky with our ‘15, picked it up CPO in ‘16, no “outstanding” recalls or anything, runs like a clock. Probably last “extra” car we’ll own together, fixing to retire soon, will be no “need” for two cars....but will run it into the ground first.... still relatively low mileage, actually, have always lived pretty close to work

 

Yep. Great car. I picked the MT - and I love how fast it picks up - using the shifting right. I have been driving it (not as much) on a very dark highway in Colorado - and stuff needs to work - especially in the winter... I have only one complaint on that car to be honest - I wish it had the LED for the wiper fluid warning, like the Canadian version has...
