Center display down, System "Lost Power" help
Hello
Anyone encounter and solve this problem before? The center display of my 2018 Fit is not booting up. It shows the Honda logo and a loading icon for a few seconds then flashes a few quick messages, either a long message that begins with "The system has lost power and needs to reconnect to GPS" something like that (it's gone in a second) or a shorter message about the Anti-Theft losing power. In both cases it suggests pressing the power button for 2 seconds to reset the system.
I've held the power button (the volume knob) for over 2 seconds, heard a beep, but nothing changes. Same issue, same messages. I've also unhooked the battery for a minute to see if that does anything. No luck.
I can't get into a dealer for a few weeks so if it's something I can solve on my own that would be ideal but the internet is giving me some bad solutions so far. Nothing is working.
I'm having a lot of computer errors with this car. 4 repairs in 4 months, all related to sensors. Is that common with Fits?

Wow, sorry to hear.
I suspect a software or hardware issue. So it could be the software not booting properly for whatever reason (corruption), or it could be a loose wire or connection where info is not being relayed appropriately, and the system doesn't recognize what it should in order to operate properly.
One option is to contact Honda corporate. While they might just point you to a dealer for diagnosis, they also might have ideas outside whatever we as the public could come up with. It might be something as simple as a software flash.
