New Tires

I brought the wheels to Mavis, and they put four Falkan Sinceras on them, with new valves and balancing. It took an hour to do the work, which I thought was a bit long, but I'm not complaining. The total bill was $543. I would have preferred going to a local family-owned tire store, but their price was over $100 more.

I used to have one of those manual tire machines from Harbor Freight, and I changed all sorts of tires over the years. When I put new tires on the Fit wheels, it didn't go well. It was more difficult doing each operation, and I left a few scratches on the wheels. It was very convenient when I bought tires online, though. I don't want to buy tires online and then bring them to a place that sells tries and ask them to do the work.
