Dashboard full of red lights

This morning, on start, my 2020 Fit came up with a complete failure of all systems - TPM, hill parking, collision mitigation...
It seems to run OK though and I managed to get home.
Should I be getting it towed to the dealer? less than 15,000 miles, I wasn't expecting this sort of problem this soon.

Welcome. Yes, have a dealer check it out, it's still under warranty.

We've had a few reports of late model GK5s with fouled injectors at less than 15K miles. It seems that Honda hasn't figured out how to design the injectors and rail properly. This is a problem going back to the 2015 introduction into the US market. Search this subforum for details.

There is nothing there which shows fuel injectors were the problem. The dealer tried replacing the fuel injectors twice and accomplished nothing. In the end they went for a shotgun approach and replaced a whole bunch of parts and did a whole bunch of things. They did find a bad ignition coil. In the end I would assume that what they did worked since it's been almost 6 months and no further posts from the OP. I'll say it again: there's nothing in that story which proves the injectors were the problem.

In regard to the midcycle redesign, you didn't seem to think so when you said this about a 2018 (post #57): https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ent-25k-3.html

If the injectors went at 9000 miles on a car 9 months old that tells me there's a good probability that the injectors were defective from the day they were installed at the factory, not bad enough to trigger any warning lights until the problem got worse with a little driving. Maybe it's just me but there seems to be injector problems being mentioned in connection with 2018 models lately but virtually no mention of problems in 2017 models which would have somewhat higher mileage.

Dealer says this happened due to a loose gas cap. I tried to argue for a while saying that I drove several times after filling gas in a 24 hour peroid before the warning lights came on. I do recall tighetning the cap, I have been driving for 20+ years and have never forgotten to tighten the gas cap...
Do you think this is possible? Why would ALL systems report a failure due to a loose gas cap even if that's the case?

There is an OBD-II code for that - P0457- Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (Fuel Cap Loose/Off).

Did the dealer do a printout of all the error codes? Any others than the P0457, I'd have them explain further.

Keep all your documentation for a lemon law return if they don't get this sorted out.
