Repeated P0303
Repeated P0303
Hi everyone!
I've been chasing a ghost a bit when it comes to my Fit and I was looking for some input. My Fit has 110K on it and started throwing the P0303 code. I replaced the spark plugs, coil packs, fuel injector, air filter and both O2 sensors(since I previously got an additional code that since went away) and none of it has worked. I know that 15-16 Fits were having injector problems and have an extended TSB to cover them, but from what I was told it's not extended on my year. The code is causing 7 lights on my dash as well. Any tips or ideas would be great. Thanks in advance!

Welcome. We've been seeing steady reports since 2015 about injector & rail issues. Yours is typical: one cylinder will start throwing misfire codes, then eventually all will, and your injectors are essentially kaput.
This is the biggest problem area for the GK5. Since the design is poor, just replacing parts doesn't buy you a better design, only more time until you need to replace again.
Fixing this ain't cheap. Injectors can only be sold new in quad-matched sets. Typically a $2-3K repair.
This is the primary reason I no longer recommend the GK5. Too expensive to fix injectors out of pocket.
For what it's worth, I believe the design issue is that the injectors & rail are extremely susceptible to carbon buildup, and that running Top Tier fuel might help prevent issues. Search this subforum for details.
